SLAVERY AND THE BIBLE: MYTH OR REALITY

PART 1: INTRODUCTION

In the name of Jehovah God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth.

Greetings Beloved,

We pray that God sanctions our mission to dis-spell the myth that God has ordained slavery. The Sons of Afrika note the following:

"Let us try to recognize that the "SLAVERY of biblical and Qur'anic times and places was out of wars and conquests, and or sociology"

"IT WAS STILL NOT LIKE THE "SLAVERY" AND COLONIALISM OF THE SONS OF

EUROPE BY ANY MEANS"

Meanwhile, our beloved brother Djehuti Sundaka notes the following: (FreedomJournal responses are identified after each passage).

DJEHUTI SUNDAKA: It should be recognized that it is precisely because of the slavery of biblical and Qur'anic times and places that the slavery and colonialism of the sons of Europe had taken its form. For without the "divine" sanction provided by these religious writings, creating the extreme "us" and "them" perspective (that persists to this day), slavery would have remained the same as it had throughout the rest of the world.

FREEDOMJOURNAL: There are several passages noted in the Bible that many believe justifies slavery. We will eventually note all of these scriptures and give further clarity on their meaning. However, we preface all of our statements with the following: "There is nothing wrong with Christianity or the Bible. However, man has come to corrupt the Bible and attempt to use it for his own purposes. These people are Christians, Fake Christians and non-believers."

Therefore one must understand the scriptures in the Bible that relate to slavery to begin to understand how people that were never real Christians attempted to justify slavery by using many of these scriptures. There has been no divine sanction on slavery. The Bible also does not teach discrimination. We will see this as we get to the passages of scripture related to our subject.

DJEHUTI SUNDAKA: The conquest and enslavement of "heathens," promoted from the days of Xristian Rome to the days of Xristian America, had been inspired by the biblical fiction of YisraEl's conquest and subjugation of Kana'an. The rhetoric of America's "Manifest Destiny" had ever been expressed by terminology inspired by the Bible. And the first Europeans to have engaged in extensive enslavement and colonization had been the Europeans most influenced by the legacy of Muslim Spain.

FREEDOMJOURNAL: The record shows that the people of Christian Rome were heathens

themselves. They practiced pagan rituals and many still do today. Therefore a correct reading of the Bible reveals that they are the contemporary Babylon and are not true believers. There is no Biblical fiction concerning Jesus Christ. Nor is Israel the home of Jews, Hebrews or Muslims. Jerusalem is the home of the Christian church and the Bible teaches that Jesus will return to this place. He will not return to force anyone to accept Him. However every knee will bow and every tongue will confess at that day. Again we note that many have come to distort the Bible. Thus we saw many people that were involved in the American slave trade who claimed to be Christians. Some also claimed to be Jews.

DJEHUTI SUNDAKA: Today, this very same biblically inspired "us" and "them" perspective continues to fuel the ongoing racism of Aryan dominated lands as well as the race based slavery of Mauritania and Sudan and the American backed colonialism of Israel. It is therefore of no mere coincidence that the only other culture to have engaged in such ongoing atrocities is that of Hindu India whose oppressive "color" system is likewise the result of "divine" sanction from religious writings.

FREEDOMJOURNAL: There is no Biblical inspiration for "us" and "them." All people are equal in the eyes of God. Therefore today (the Christian Dispensation or Period) those that embrace and accept Jesus Christ are chosen. However, those lost are still loved by God and the believers. Racism does not come from the Bible. Racism comes from man and his greed. For the record what comes first racism or economics? We argue that economic greed preceded racism. Thus, the term Economic/Racism. The only comment we have on the Hindu religion is that it is Pagan.

Therefore, Pagan religious writings are of no utility for the believers to discover things involved in the pursuit of monotheism.
