Greetings Brethren,

There are many upon the land that reject the Laws of God. However, there is also a cadre of unbelievers in the Church. These people also reject the Truth of God. Thus, they try to include the personal laws of the ungodly in the last rites of the dead. The Bible is Supreme, they have been told. Thus they will see a worse and more serious fate than those outside the Church. May Almighty God have mercy on their souls and spirit that only God will be able to locate.

Peace and Love,

Carl Patton writing for the FreedomJournal April 3, 2002 in the year of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

CREMATION AN ACT OF SATAN

PART 4: THE CALL FROM THE GRAVE

In the name of Jehovah God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth.

We bear witness that all that have lived will be called from the grave. Again we note there will not be a call to righteousness for those not asleep in a grave. However, what is a grave?

A grave is noted as a tomb, sepulcher and as a place for the interment of the dead. During ancient times and Biblical days burial customs varied in different countries etc. So were other customs thus the way people were buried was no different.

The Egyptians were great believers in a future life. Thus, they were very meticulous in the construction of their graves. The Hebrew people as noted in the Bible often used holes in the earth as graves. (See Genesis 35:8, 1 Samuel 31:13). Natural caves and tombs cut from stone were also used as graves. (See Luke 7:12, John 11:30).

There were also grave clothes. Prior to burial the body was washed, cleaned and anointed with spices. The body was then stretched out on a bier until it was ready for burial (Acts 5:7). With the washing and cleaning of the body completed the corpse was wrapped in a winding linen sheet. The hands and feet were bound with grave bands, and the face was covered with a napkin (see John 11:44, 19:40)

There was also the fact of proper or improper burial. Thus how one was buried could bestow favor or disfavor from God. In Deuteronomy 34:6 we see that Moses received an honorable burial by God himself. The record also shows that David gave Ishbaal's decapitated head and the remains of Saul and Jonathan proper burial.

An improper burial meant a terrible fate and judgment from God. (See II Kings 23:16, Ecclesiastes 6:3, Isaiah 14:19, Jeremiah 8:1-2). Many believed that the dead should receive blessings and respect from the living by a memorial service. What is the difference in a Memorial for those immediately burned and those laid to rest in the ground or a tomb? Look at the word Rest. A body laid to Rest is very different from the fate of a cremated body. Thus does the burned flesh and bones of the cremated soul come (go) to a place of rest? These thoughts are some facts to think about among those that believe that God has sanctioned the burning of the body after death. These thoughts are also meant to confirm to the believer that God is not pleased with the destruction of the body He created.

Meanwhile we see the call from the grave revealed in Daniel 12:2-3. "And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. This verse predicts the general resurrection. Companion scripture is also found at Matthew 25:46 and Acts 24:15.

Matthew 25:46 "And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into eternal life. (Also see Revelation 2:7).

Acts 24:15. “And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and the unjust."

There was a high premium placed on proper burial during Biblical times. (Is Cremation a proper burial?) In Isaiah 14:19 the Prophet uses the imagery of burial to reveal that the Babylonian king was denied burial. To be denied a respectful burial is the end result of a dishonorable end to a once great king.

Also, in the Book of Ecclesiastes (6:3) we see a further note on the practice of proper burials during Biblical times. During these days and times people were very concerned about a respectful burial (see Genesis 24). (Is Cremation respect for the dead? Where in the Bible has God instructed us to Cremate, Burn the flesh of the dead?)

This verse (Ecclesiastes 6:3) reveals a man with a large family who was very prosperous. However he made some wrong decisions and did not prepare a proper place for his burial. Therefore Solomon regarded this action of irresponsibility as worse than being born prematurely and dying immediately after birth.

Now for a powerful scripture lesson that further refutes the Satanic act of cremation we turn to the New Testament and the Book of John.

Johan 5:28-29. "Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in that which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice," (also see 1 Corinthian 15:55).

5:29. "And shall come forth, they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation." (See Daniel 12:2).

Graves are the places where the bodies of people that have died are placed. The dead will be called out of their graves by Jesus on the day of general resurrection. (Where will you reside or rest?)

The call from the grave will not depend on conduct or character. The entire human family that has died will be called. However, the judgment depends on conduct. (We realize that the unbelievers pay little heed to what is in the Bible. However those of you that claim to be believers that Cremate the dead are dead wrong. However your actions will merit you another Fire much hotter than the Fire you started).
