Greetings Brethren:

We continue with a report of Truth. Meanwhile many come as men and women of the Faith with distorted views of scripture inspired by Satan and not God. Let it be written and it is for certain that Hell will freeze and become a burning iceberg before God’s people will accept the union of the same sex in marriage.

Thus no matter how much the new Liberalism wallows with vipers, serpents, dogs and hogs the Word Stands.

BRETHREN EVEN THOSE THAT ARE NOT BELIEVERS WHERE IS THE LOGIC? HOW COULD THE WORLD BE POPULATED IF WE SUBMIT TO THE MARTIAL UNION OF MAN AND MAN AND WOMAN AND WOMAN?

Therefore are there new words that needed to be added to the English language to describe these step-children of Satan? Believers if you don’t think that the world is in a turmoil just read the newspapers and look at the advocates for this GREAT EVIL.

WHERE IS THE REMNANT?

PART 3: FURTHER DEFINING REMNANT: SPARED BECAUSE OF FAITH

IN THE NAME OF GOD MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE, RULER OF THE EARTH

Greetings Brethren in the name of God our Father His son our Savior Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. We are grateful today for another day among the living and the dead. Peace be unto all the Saints of God. We pray for the righteous and the unrighteous. Our prayers are also for peace and love throughout the land and country, in our homes, church, schools and in Jerusalem. Where is the remnant? We pray that the remnant will be strengthened by God to bear witness to Truth and be a guiding Light leading to the salvation of those that are lost.

As just noted the remnant is very important and has great responsibility. With the multitudes listening, looking and worshipping man in the flesh in the disguise of Preachers and Rev. Doctors much work needs to be done. There is no Godly man found among the flock that accept the willful and premeditated distortion and defilement of the written record rendered by the inspired writers. So in order to more clearly understand the remnant and their responsibilities we continue with its definitive qualities.

Sheerith is another Hebrew word for remnant. It means residue.

11 Kings 19:30-31. “And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall yet again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.”

“For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the Lord of hosts shall do this.” (Also see 11 Chronicles 32:22-23).

What is most important here? This captivity is compared to that of the Judah. Also we see that some will survive, this is the residue. Some also will be make the transition to Christ that is part of the Divine plan for salvation. Follow along as we review some very powerful scripture taken from Isaiah.

Isaiah 1:9. “Except the Lord of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.”

Here it is noted that remnant is a small group of people spared by God because they were faithful. Also we find mention of Sodom and Gomorrah. These two cities were destroyed for their great wickedness. Thus Sodom and Gomorrah are clear examples of God’s judgment for sin. (For the Record will Sodom and Gomorrah spread down from Canada to the U.S? Some say we are already in the land of wickedness?). Meanwhile God decreed that the Hebrew people go into captivity and be punished for their sins. But there was a small number left or salvaged from the captivity. In Ezra 2:64 the number is noted as 42,360. Had not for the love of God the captivity would have completely destroyed them as the Lord did Sodom and Gomorrah.

Isaiah 11: 11, 16. At this place in Isaiah we see some of the greatest prophecy regarding the Kingdom of Jesus Christ the Messiah. Therefore as we digest the definitive qualities of remnant keep ever present that the remnant of the Old and New Testament leads to Christ. We suggest that you read and digest the entire chapter. Verse 9 notes the prediction regarding the fulfillment of the Gospel; however our primary verses for this discussion are verse 11 and 16.

11:16. “And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.”

The prediction of the Gospel and the kingdom of Christ is noted in several verses prior to our primary verse noted in verse 11. For the sake of clarity the writer in our primary verse refers to the present situation of the Hebrew people during that time. However as we connect the previous predictions and relish the prominence of Jesus Christ in Old Testament scripture we confirm that any remnant noted in the Bible has a clear reference to salvation and that salvation comes through the Acceptance of Jesus Christ.
