Greetings Brethren:
Thanks be to God for another day. How can humankind exist
without God? Are those that don’t know God really alive or existing? Is there a
difference between living, dying and existing? Let it be written once again “There
is very little knowledge in the human mind without some knowledge of God.”
Well are those that are non-believers faced with an
insurmountable ignorance? What of those that attend Churches throughout the
land and country for social and economic reasons? Just where is the remnant? Is
it in your heart?

WHERE IS THE REMNANT?
PART 19: THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY GHOST AND THE REMNANT
IN THE NAME OF GOD
MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE, RULER OF THE EARTH
Greetings Brethren we are grateful to God to be able to
continue our mission of Faith. God didn’t have to leave us here to do anything
but He did. Therefore we are very grateful and give eternal thanks to God our
Father His Son our Savior Jesus Christ and to the Holy Spirit.
Beloved as the report of Truth goes forth many still
wallow in confusion, malice and the willful mis-representation of the
scriptures. The storms and rain have covered the land. The earth has had
upheavals called earthquakes. Mud and rocks have come down from the mountain
tops. Tornadoes have come day by day and back to back. Meanwhile those of
weather science sit and wonder. Here again a Spiritual Scientist beckons the
call.
Signs, wonders, joy and peace it is all the work of God.
Since the last days these works continue. The pursuit of human life on fronts
of war. The confusion among those that head many states. Will the Spiritual
Scientist step up to the plate. Will the lost and confused see the rainbow?
However if Divinity (Theology) schools continue with a
faculty of atheists and non-believers many will be doomed. For the record all
of the so-called religious leaders that come to distort and defile the Bible
are non-believers. You cannot believe that the attempt to de-populate the world
by same sex marriages is Godly and be a Christian or true believer. So
regardless how many Divinity degrees you have or how long you have been a
Priest or Minister you are still Hell-bound with an express one-way ticket.
It is for sure that the accepted false doctrine that has
been a part of the historical development of denominational churches holds
answers too many questions of blasphemy in the Church. For example the Pagan
origins of the Roman Catholic Church hold the root causes for the degenerate
behavior of many Priest. Also ingrained in the history of the Romans and their
move to establish Catholicism you will find many reasons for the Pagan rituals
and ceremonies among the Catholics.
Brethren literally
millions wallow in sin, confusion and the willful denial of Truth. However
there is a remnant among those just mentioned. There is also a viable remnant
among the Church that Jesus Christ established and carried forth by the
Apostles. We continue now with our scripture lesson taken from Mark 1.
Mark 1: 6-7. “And John was clothed with camel’s hair, and
with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locust and wild honey;”
(Also see Leviticus
“And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I
after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and
unloose.”
Prophets wore certain clothes. However the diet of John
Baptist was not the norm. Although his diet was quite healthy and more specifically
locust were clean and a food Jews were allowed to eat during this time (Mosaic
Law). Also the record shows that honey is one of the purest foods that God
created and holds essential nutrients for one’s body.
John goes on to mention for the first time the one who
was to follow him. His reference to shoes is in regard to the customs of the
day. Loose sandals were worn by the people. When they entered someone’s home
the servants would take charge of the sandals. Thus the phrase, “the latchet of
whose shoes I am not worth to stoop down and unloose.”
In John
John1:15. “John bare witness of him, and cried, saying,
This was he of whom I spake He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for
he was before me.” (Also see Matthew 3:11; Luke 3:16).
We would be remiss if we did not include verse 16 that
follow our primary verse. Here we see Jesus calling the remnant.
John 1:16. “For the law was given by Moses, but grace and
truth came by Jesus Christ.” (Also see Exodus 20:1).
John here acknowledges the superiority of Christ. He reveals that although in the flesh Christ
was younger than John the Baptist he had existed before the beginning of the
world spiritually.
Mark 1:8. “I indeed have baptized you with water: but he
shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.”
(Also see Acts 2:4;
The Baptism of the Holy Ghost was to be performed by
Jesus who would come after John Baptist. The Holy Ghost would be given to the
Apostles to guide them into all truth.
John 16:13. We
recommend that you read and digest this entire Chapter here to get a good
understanding of the relationship of the Holy Ghost, baptism, and how these
relate to the Apostles and the remnant.
“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth is come, he will
guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he
shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”
The Spirit which is the Holy Spirit/Holy Ghost would
guide the Apostles into all Truth.
