Greetings
Brethren,
Look and think
and be wise. Frown on Truth and walk in blindness is the way of the foolish.
God has ordained His Grace and Majesty for all people. Race and Color has no standards
with God. There is no discrimination among the Godly. However there is a
distinction between those that embrace God and those that do not. Will the hour
of Mid-Night bring many to the fold? Can a heart be right at the end? What has
the Mid-Night convert given to God and to God's people?
Peace and Love,

RACE AND GOD(BLACK NOR WHITE)
PART 12: WHEN YOU SEE AND ANGEL DO YOU SEE CHRIST?
In the name of
Jehovah God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth.
Peace be unto
the Saints of God. We thank God our Father for His Divine Son Jesus Christ our
Lord and Savior. Tribute grace and honor is also given to the comforter of the
righteous the Holy Spirit. For with the Holy Spirit within us we have the power
of God.
Blessed are
those that walk with God. For upon this journey we see and hear messages and
signs of the Father and the Savior. Angels come in various ways carrying out
the Will of God. Angels may also represent the Son of man. Are angels sent by
God through Jesus Christ?
We bear witness
that the Truth of God is revealed in the Bible. However, often the words of God
are distorted and taken out of context. Also many come to cry that the Bible is
difficult to read and understand. Especially criticism has been noted regarding
the Book of Revelation. Our task here is to bring greater clarity to our
understanding of what is in the Word. "When you see and angel do you see
Christ?"
We resume now
with our present discussion and our next scripture noted as follows:
Rev. 1: 14.
"His head and his hairs were white like wool. As white as snow; and his
eyes were as a flame of fire;"
Again we note
that this series is written primarily to bring more clarity to the notion that
verses 14 and 15 of the first chapter of Revelation are references that Jesus
Christ is of a particular race and color. For the record the Bible is clear
regarding the ethnic line of Jesus Christ. Also, we have to bear in mind that
Jesus is the Son of God, divine with human attributes. Also, one should be well
aware of the original description of the Hebrew people. However since Jesus is
who He is we must be careful to not create pictures and images of Jesus. We
should also be very careful in our oral,
and written descriptions of the Savior Jesus Christ.
So when the
mis-informed often attempt to use scripture to justify a racial description of
Jesus we need to understand just what the scripture in question really means.
We now call your attention to the verse preceding this one and to our previous
statements. Meanwhile, the word white used in this verse refers to purity and
glory. Here we see white hair that is pure and filled with glory noted as the
texture of wool. Now look at the phrase "a flame of fire." A flame is
active and penetrating and fire will consume. Fire will especially consume that
which is objectionable.
Nevertheless,
this does not adequately refute the many false notions about this verse. A
point of clarity here is that the verses that follow will also bring greater
clarity to this verse. Meanwhile, we will refer to the Book of Daniel for
companion scripture as further reference points.
As we turn to
the 7th Chapter of the book of Daniel we advise the reader to read and digest
the entire chapter 1-28. However, we
will especially point out 7: 9-10 and 13-14. At this
point we will
preface all other statements with the following. There is a need to understand
the relationship of secular history to the inspired Word as revealed in the
scriptures. However, we must be careful to note the parallels of both. In
instances where secular history contradicts Biblical history we find little
utility in using it in our examination of the scriptures.
In the Book of Daniel
that we are referring to we find a prophecy that has come and is coming, too
past regarding the history of empires and how they have impacted on the Church.
An understanding of these factors are necessary to understand our primary
scripture taken from Revelation 1:14. We
will begin with verses 9-10 in Daniel the 7th chapter.
Daniel 7: 9.
"I beheld till the throne were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit,
whose
garment was
white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like
the fiery flame and his wheels as burning fire."
Here we see the
phrase "garment was white as snow." We also see a phrase that notes
hair like pure wool. We also see the word flame and fire. Thus, there is some
definite relationship of this verse to our primary verse in Revelation 1:14.
Yet what is the relationship. We can note the relationship first by revealing
what this verse does not mean. This verse is not about Jesus Christ. Although
one may say that the angel represents Jesus the image itself is not Jesus. This
verse is not inferring are suggesting a color or race of God nor Jesus.
In the 7th
chapter of Daniel we see Daniel seeing visions. These visions become developing
prophecies. So
Daniel is involved in the interpretation of Visions. At the time of Daniel's
predictions
religion had become a state affair in the world empires. Religion was forced
upon the people and they had no choice. For the record we are speaking of the
world empires before the coming of Christ. Meanwhile the record shows that God
would introduce an institution into the midst of these kings and rulers.
The change in
attitude among the people that resulted in individual responsibility would
result in the downfall of these world powers. Therefore the phrase till the thrones
were cast down is seen. Still, the "ancient of days," is the God of
heaven.
