Greetings Brethren,

There is a dire need for the brethren to study the Word and allow Emotion to flow steered by the Holy Spirit. Let not a Preacher tell you to look at your neighbor and tell or ask him a question formed by someone in a Pulpit. If you want to shout, dance and praise God verbally do it on your own understanding that comes from within.

WHAT THE CHURCH NEEDS IS SOME WORD AND LESS EMOTION.

"But FreedomJournal if the people become knowledgeable of the Bible the False Prophets will not be able to trick, con, and exploit them out of their earthly resources while closing the door on the Free-Gift of Salvation."

Peace and Love,

Carl Patton writing for the FreedomJournal October 13, 2002 in the year of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

RACE AND GOD(BLACK NOR WHITE)

PART 11: CHRIST IS REPRESENTED BY AN ANGEL

In the name of Jehovah God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth.

We are thankful today for another day of Peace and Joy. However, there is no real Peace and Joy without Christ. Thus, we thank God our Father for Jesus Christ the Son of man and our Savior. We are also grateful for the Holy Spirit that Jesus Christ sent back to sustain the righteous as we go through the valley of death and life.

Peace be unto those that honestly and sincerely seek the Truth of God. Forever we pray that God will have mercy on those that turn from Truth and seek only the non-thinking comical ways of the world. The answers to any question or concern are found in the Bible. For example there is no panacea or set formula for organizing among the oppressed. Nevertheless, there is a panacea and solid way in which to understand all things. This Panacea is found in the Holy Scriptures.

"So Mr. FreedomJournal what are you inferring are saying here? Are you saying that the Bible has the answer to all of humankind's ills? Therefore, are all historical, political, economic, social, psychological and Spiritual questions found in scripture?"

"Truth you are correct.  All of the things and concerns of humankind that leaves him in doubt and in an inquisitive state of mind are found in the inspired Word of God. So if I would ask the question "should man question the Race or Color of the Prophets, Apostles and Jesus Christ" we can find the answer in the Bible. Still, many come without a heart and mind of Truth. Many come to confuse and render messages of Hate and dissension. We pray for the lost and we also pray for those that seek to grow in Spirit and Truth.

We will now resume with our discussion of "Race and God (Black Nor White). In the Book of Revelation we find several prominent scriptures that are often used to justify describing Jesus as Black. What is the Truth of these scriptural passages?

Rev. 1: 13. "And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle."

All Bible students know that the Son of man is about Christ. However, look at this passage closely. "One like unto the Son of man." So someone that looked like the Son of man or one bringing a message like the Son of man. Here we see the language addressed to John in these passages. Still, many believe that Christ is talking personally. However that is not so because Christ is on the throne in heaven with the Father. He has been there since His ascension and will stay there until He comes to judge the world. However, John is inspired by God to render the words of Christ.

For a related scripture that gives additional clarity to this point turn to Hebrews 10: 12-13.

"But this man after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God;"

"From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool."

The phrase "this man," refers to Christ. Forever means that His sacrifice would be permanent. Thus, it would not have to be repeated. This scripture reveals that to continue an Old Law ritual of Tithing to the Church is not of God. Again we see the Word teaching us that Jesus Christ made the sacrifice once and for all for the sins of the world. Thus removing the need to make sacrificial offerings and Tithing to the Levitical Priesthood that no longer exists.

In verse 13 we the phrase "From henceforth expecting." Thus He expects to remain on the right hand of the God till his enemies are made his footstool.

For yet some additional scripture turn to 1 Corinthians 15: 25-26.

However we will begin with the 24th verse to glean a clearer understanding of what the Word is revealing.

"Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power."

15:25. "For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet."

"The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death."

What will come to end at the coming of Christ? The kingdom or rule of Christ will end. Paul tells us that the kingdom of Christ as the ruler will end at the second coming and He will deliver the kingdom to His Father. Therefore it is only logical that the kingdom of Christ is already in existence and that Christ will not be a king after that coming. The kingdom is not in the future as many people believe. We are not living in the kingdom of Christ. Nevertheless, when Christ walked the earth the people were disobedient. This disobedience continued when the Apostles established the church. The record shows that many still have turned from God during the time in which we live in the year 2002.

The believer’s failure to realize the true nature of the present kingdom renders confusion. Much of this confusion is centered on Jerusalem and the center of Christ's kingdom. What is a center of Christianity and Christ among those that have rejected Him? Can one be a Christian and support Zionism? How can you support and claim Godliness among those who have rejected Christ?

Jesus gave death a fatal blow when he arose from the dead. (See 2 Timothy 1:10). Meanwhile, the transfer of the kingdom will be in an instant. After the dead are raised to die no more (however some will live eternally and some will burn eternally) Jesus will relinquish the kingdom to God who will rule endlessly. (See Daniel 2:44 "The kingdom of the God of heaven shall stand forever).

We now return to our primary scripture taken from Rev. 1:13. All that is said as coming from Christ is done through an angel.  See the following:

Rev. 22: 8. "And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things."

Long garments were worn by the priests, and the girdle of gold around the breast were the garments of a king. Christ is noted as both High Priest and King and this angel was representing.  Him.  Now for a final related scripture to our primary verse noted in Re. 1:13 we turn to the Book of Zechariah.

Zechariah 6: 13. "Even he shall build the temple of the Lord; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both."

God ordained Christ to unite in himself the two offices of priest and king. This was never permitted under the Mosaic system. The two offices were taken from different tribes. The kings were from the tribe of Judah and the priests were from the tribe of Levi. (See 2 Chronicles 26:16 for an account of a king who tried to assume the office of priest but got into serious trouble with the Lord).
