THE PREACHER/MINISTER/PASTOR
(What Does The Bible Teach About
Preachers?)
Part 98: Those That Don’t Speak For
God Speak For Satan (II Corinthians 11: 14)
Greetings Brethren,
Peace be unto you. We
are forever grateful to Almighty God our Father which art in Heave and the His
Divine Son Christ Jesus and for the sent indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
How can we cope with
the evil and wicked power that still exists throughout the land?
“There was one a man
who read little about the enemies of the King. He often just relied on whatever
was told him by the man called the Preacher. Sadly he never knew who sent the
Preacher. But the Book said he should have known. Anyway they ended up down at
the same place.”
Peace and Love, Carl
A. Patton a willing servant of Almighty God in service to Christ writing for

In the name of God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth
II Corinthians 11:
14: “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.”
(Also see Galatians 1: 8).
Satan as a
supernatural being has often manifested his power in various forms. For example
in Genesis 3: 1 he appeared as a serpent to Eve. In I Peter 5: 8 he appeared as
a roaring lion. In our verse he is said to appear as an angel of light. When
did Satan cease appearing in disguised forms to men on earth? Was it the time
when the age and time of miracles passed? Well does Satan now do his work
through evil human beings?
But before we confirm
this in our next verse it is necessary to include several cross-references at
this place for your thought and mediation.
Zechariah 13: 2: “
And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord of hosts, that I will cut
off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be
remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirits to pass
out of the land.”
Beloved we pray that
those that read these humble words will embark on a serious and consistent
study of the Bible. As you do tell a friend and make for an on-going testimony
among the Brethren.
The prophet Zechariah
makes a prediction that is cleansing throughout the land. First idolatry will
have been banished from ancient Israel by the captivity. He also predicts that when
the new religious system has been established (New Covenant under Christ) all
special and miraculous means will no longer be necessary and cease to be used.
This does not mean
that God and Christ will cease performing miracles but it does mean that there
will no longer be a prophet with miraculous power. Thus there will no longer be
unclean spirits are devils in man because it take miraculous power to cast out
devils. However man will still make the choice to follow God are Satan. Thus
there will always be Godly Spirits and those that are evil that are left to us
by free will. Follow us to the next
verse because we still have countless so-called preachers today still claiming
to have miraculous power. However if you don’t read and study the Bible you will
believe them. You also will be confused as to who sent them.
Zechariah 13: 3: “And
it shall come to pass, that when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and
his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou
speakest lies in the name of the lord: and his father and his mother that begat
him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.”
After the age of
miracles has passed it will be ungodly and false for anyone to claim to have
supernatural power toward prophesying. For the record the miraculous period
ended with the passing of the Apostles and the completion of the New Testament.
Meanwhile Zechariah
teaches that those that continue to claim this power are imposters and even his
parents will oppose him who have learned better.
Now follow us to the
Book of Revelation for additional notes on Satan.
Revelation 12: 9:
“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and
Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his
angels were cast out with him.”
We advise you to read
all verses found here 1-17 for further insight into Satan and how he still
exists throughout the land.
As Satan was cast out
of Heaven so were his angels. (See II Peter 2: 4 and Jude 6). Jesus also talks
about the devil’s angels in Mathew 25: 41. Again we note Satan as a serpent as
noted in Genesis 3: 1-4. The phrase “deceiveth the whole world” does not mean
all people in the world because there are exceptions. However all deception
that exists in the world can be attributed to Satan. So if your Preacher seeks
to deceive the flock they move and embrace Satan.
