Part 91: Unscriptural Teaching Will Turn You From The Truth (Titus 1: 14-15).

Greetings Brethren,

Peace be unto you. Beloved we are grateful for yet another day inspired by Almighty God always giving thanks to the Father for Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

Meanwhile the world as far as we can see stands in need of repentance. But just as the lost did in the time of Noah they look to man and things and not God. Those that bring the message of Truth are rebuked and scorned. Meanwhile the unrighteous know not that they dig a fiery grave of wickedness.

In the name of God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth

Brethren we bring a sad report as many that profess the love of God and Christ do not will not read and study the Bible.

Titus 1: 14: “ Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.” (Also see I timothy 1: 4).

The laws of God that reveal our road map to heaven are recorded in the Bible. The Bible was written by inspired men of God therefore it was authorized by God. However God has not authorized the multitude of Bible versions/translations that take the original text and or KJV out of context.

At this place (Titus 1: 14) we see the Judiazers troubling the brethren a Crete. The phrase “commandments of men” relates that these men taught things that were not divinely sanctioned by God. This teaching was not true. Therefore those that accepted it would turn from the truth.

For the record Jim Jones (who had a lot of Devil in him) taught the "People’s Temple” followers that there was no heaven above only on earth. He therefore took the people away from the Bible. This allowed him as he attempted to take God’s place to convince many of his followers to take their life. Brethren many of you most likely will not commit suicide but when you place man before God and don’t keep God first and stay in prayer while reading your Bible your fate will be very similar to those who followed Jim Jones.

Colossians 2: 21-22: “(Touch not; taste not; handle not;

“Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?”

The brethren are now free from the law and the legalism of the ceremonial laws of the Old Testament. For example Tithes and offering as described under the Old Law have now been canceled. However the offerings/giving to the church is by free-will and the heart. Therefore removing the need for a percentage to be given to the Priests. Because Jesus came to remove the Priesthood and became the High Priest. But if one by their heart wants to give a percentage of their income so be it.

Meanwhile the restrictions on food and drink such as touch not, taste not, handle not, refer to the eating and drinking of certain things. However these restrictions had been lifted by the Gospel. Thus the attempt to enforce them would be a human regulation.

Those things (food, drink) the Judaizers insisted the Christians not touch were restricted by the Law. However these restrictions were purely ceremonial and when the Law was canceled these restriction were canceled also. (Also see Mark 7: 15-19). However after the ending of the Law those that continued were abiding by “after the commandments, and doctrine of men.” (Also see Philippians 3: 9). Christ replaced the Law.

II Timothy 4:4: “and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned into fables.”

As we look to these times we see many teachers that perform merely as entertainers of the pulpit. The people that employ them just as the people who employed the teachers that Paul teaches Timothy about are filled with lusts. Therefore the teachers are committed to express these desires. Hence they turn the people away from the truth entertaining them with fables and fiction. Read your Bible and follow God and not man.
