CHRISTIANITY:
FALSE DOCTRINE, FALSE TEACHING
(Judging/Judgment
Series)
Part
5: The Last Judgment
In
the name of God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth.
We bear witness to the laws of God
recorded in the scriptures. All people of the planet earth believe in
something. A belief in God often determines how a person distinguishes good
from evil. Therefore those that don’t believe in God often think that bad is
good and good is bad.
There are also those that claim a
belief in God who have a lack of love for anybody or anything that is different
from them. These people are not godly. They have embraced evil and Satan.
Meanwhile, they feel threatened by other religions and denounce others who do
not share their views.
The road to Peace and Paradise is
not tarnished by hatred, malice, envy, selfishness and the discrimination of
other people based on race, ethnic origins, class etc. We would be remiss if we
did not note that many groups are also discriminated against in our society.
Often those that believe in God are accused of discrimination against those
that embrace a Gay lifestyle.
Therefore, we state that it is not
discrimination to note that same sex relationships are a violation of the
before ordained laws of nature. The laws of any society on earth are first
revealed in the laws of God the Creator. However, man in his simple wisdom and
knowledge also establishes laws in the societies in which we live.
Thus, the attempt by man to deny
God’s law when it comes to homosexual relationships and for example abortion is
a wicked sin and abomination. Man did not create the world and its people.
Thus, he does not have the power nor authority to tamper with the laws of God.
However many people cannot distinguish between good and evil. Therefore, many
people that claim a belief in God have very little faith when they tamper with
the laws of Creation.
However it is written that a Great
Day of Judgment looms on the horizon. The attack of God’s law only hastens the
day. Daniel means God is my judge. In the Book of Daniel we also find one of
the greatest recordings of faith. The Book of Daniel also reveals that God is
sovereign. However, the dreams and visions of the Prophet Daniel have been
called the key to all Biblical prophecies. The Prophecy of the last days as
recorded in the last chapter (Chapter 12) gives us closing statements on our
discussion on Judging/Judge.
We will record and review the first
four verses in Daniel 12 to reveal this great Prophecy and His coming judgment.
12:1 “And at that time shall
Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy
people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was
a nation even to that same time; and at that time thy people shall be
delivered, everyone that shall be found written in the book.”
The Prophecy of the future is
revealed in this verse to note that the Jews and all other nations are the
people of God. Thus, God’s people will face hardships. Nevertheless, a great
promise of hope will temper the sufferings of the believers at the last
judgment. Also, see Jeremiah 30:7 and Matthew 24:21. In Hebrews 1:13-14 we see
an explanation about the duties of Angels.
The writer of the Book of Hebrews
refers to the Old Testament to show the greatness of Christ in comparison to
Angels. Thus, Angels are spiritual beings who act as God’s messengers. They are
created by God and are under His authority. (See Colossians 1:16)
Meanwhile, Angels have several
functions and duties:
1.
Serve
Believers; Hebrews 1:14.
2.
Protect
the helpless; Matthew 18:10-11.
3.
They
proclaim God’s messages; Revelations 14:6-12.
4.
They
execute God’s Judgment; Acts 12:1-23, Revelations 20:1-3.
Daniel 12:2 “And many of them that sleep
in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to
shame and everlasting contempt.”
This scripture refers to the
resurrection of both the good and the bad. The teaching of the bodily
resurrection for the righteous and the wicked was an idea and not common
knowledge during that time. (For other Old Testament references to the
resurrection see Job 19:25-26, Psalm, 16:10 and Isaiah 26:19).
12:3 “And they that be wise shall
shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to
righteousness as the stars forever and ever.”
This scripture does not refer to
stars in a crown. God tells us that we can shine like stars by bringing people
to Christ. Thus, if we share the Word of God with other people we will shine.
12:4 “But thou, O Daniel, shut up
the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end; many shall run to
and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”
The Prophecy noted in this verse
has been sealed and kept secret to give people in the end times the hope that
God will conquer all evil. Meanwhile, knowledge will be increased.
This is predicted in Isaiah 11:9.
Mountain in this verse refers to
the government or kingdom of Christ. Earth shall be full is a prediction of the
final and complete extension of the Gospel throughout the world. This
prediction was fulfilled according to Romans 10:18, 16:26, and Colossians 1:23.
As all of humankind will go to
rest, some will arise to receive the gift of eternal life. So will be the
coming Prophecy of the great Prophets as inspired by Almighty God.
