THE COMING OF THE MESSIAH: THE COMING OF THE PROPHETS
Part 3: God Has Come
In
the name of God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth.
The two previous articles in this three-part
series have laid a literary path for the third and final article, "God Has
Come." "The Messiah Cometh" revealed that in the Christian world
the Messiah as prophesied in the Old Testament and as recorded in the New
Testament came in the presence and Spirit of Jesus the Christ. The second
article "The Prophets Cometh" recorded that many Prophets have come
upon the earth. The Prophets have been of various religions and of different
cultures.
The FreedomJournal
would be remiss if we did not speak about the arrogant and dogmatic attitudes
of many that profess to believe in God. This arrogance prevents the
all-important element of Unity among the people on the planet earth. This lack
of Unity is especially noticeable in the Black community that has less Unity
than any other people in the recorded history of humankind. Therefore, Black
people need to make a special effort and/or sacrifice for the sake of Unity.
The following are just brief examples
of various religions that denounce Unity. We preface these examples by noting
that all people in these various religions are not Anti-Black Unity, but the
numbers that deny Unity is alarming. For the record the extreme hatred of
another race or group of people will defeat Unity. Surely Black people do not want
to become narrow minded hateful extremists like many people outside the Black
community that hold racial hatred as their premier calling card. (1) The
believers in African Traditional Religions that refuse to respect Jews,
Christians and Muslims. (2) Jews that refuse to respect Christians. (3)
Christians that refuse to respect Muslims. (4) Muslims that refuse to respect
Christians.
As the Messiah has come, it is also
written that He will return. Meanwhile, the Prophets still come to render the
Truth of Almighty God. "God Has Come." The God of 1999 is the same
God of 2000. Thus God has always been and always will be.
In Old Testament scripture in the
Book of Joshua, Chapter 3 we see the presence of God leading the people of God
to the Promised Land. The Promised Land is also the promise of Peace and
Paradise to the believers.
Will man allow God to lead and guide
him? Will man give God the room to lead him? In the year
2000 man will embark on new
territory; will the people of God allow God to be God? God is the central
figure and not man. Thus God does not exist to grant us material possessions
and/or the essence of the ungodly prosperity ministries. Man and woman exist to
serve God and follow the law of God.
As God speaks to man through the
Spirit, we will be commanded to follow the right path. Yet there are those that
walk and crawl the planet earth that disputes the Truth, knowledge and wisdom
of God.
Deuteronomy 29:29. "The secret
things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong
unto us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this
law."
Man cannot comprehend all of the
knowledge of God. Therefore, God has chosen not to reveal certain knowledge.
Thus God has revealed, "Need to know information," thus the
disobedience of man and his alliance with Satan comes from his will and not
from lack of knowledge. As the scriptures have noted there is often a
particular time frame, in which God has revealed knowledge to man. We bear
witness to this fact and believe that man is now embarking on a time period in
which Almighty God will reveal much to humanity that has been kept secret.
As man attempts to fulfill the will
of God, he has a particular purpose. This purpose again is to trust in God and
not the treasures of the world. Let it be written that Satan has taken over
many churches and places of worship. Satan has influenced many so-called
Christians because this society has conditioned many people to embrace money
and material possessions. This has resulted in an addiction and an insatiable
love for money.
Romans 8:28. "And we know that
all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called
to his purpose."
Those that are truly called answer to
the Holy Spirit. This Spirit convinces the person called of the love of Jesus
the Christ. This person then becomes a new creature. No man or woman in the
flesh can be truly free of sin but the new creature sees many sins pass away.
One such sin is the abnormal behavior associated with loving money. God did not
say man does not need money but to put anything before God is a sin.
Meanwhile Satan rejoices in the
dissension caused by greed and the lust for material possessions. Unity between
the Christian churches and other religions also is limited. Can different
people believe in one God and have something in common? Will the people of the
world respect other cultures and religions in the year 2000?
The scriptures (Revelations 21) tell
us that the earth as we know it will not last forever. In the book of Isaiah we
see God promising a new earth (Isaiah 65:17, 66:22). Will man and woman heed
the Word of God? Will man continue to dispute and argue about who has the key
to salvation? Does God want man to have unity of purpose? Does man have the
right to believe what he wants to believe?
Therefore does man have the right to
disbelieve? Can man deny that millions of people embrace various religions in
the world? Will God or man say who is wrong or who is right? Meanwhile let not
your heart be troubled. Come to the table of Unity with the natural inclination
of Peace. Man has the right to choose between good and evil. Thus, he has the
free will to be saved or to die.
