THE WAY OF GOD IS GOOD THE WAY OF THE WORLD IS EVIL
In
the name of God master of the universe the Ruler of the earth
(April 3, 1999)
Once again we thank Almighty God for another opportunity to reflect on His
Holy Word. We pray that God will continue to use us to note the Truth to those
that believe and to the unbelievers. We pray that the unbelievers, the unsaved
will become saved and accept the Messiah.
As the wicked journey of life
proceeds we find peace and hope in the word of God. We continue to pray for
wisdom and understanding of the Divine Word of God. As we keep God first, we
know that he has all power. We also know that this world is a challenge between
good and evil. Those that have chosen good are few, the multitudes have chosen
the easy way, the wicked, and evil way. Evil is the way to hell and damnation.
God has brought good and evil. It is
your choice to choose good or evil, heaven or hell. Isaiah 45:7 notes "I
form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: The Lord do
all these things.
What is the beginning of evil? The
fall of Satan before the creation of man notes the beginning of evil. In
Genesis 2 we see the story of Adam and Eve. Man was told that he could eat of
every tree except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. That if he ate of
this tree he would surely die. God created Eve. Adam and Eve were both naked
and not ashamed. Sin was not known.
In the book of Genesis chapter 3 we
see Adam and Eve committing sin. The serpent (Satan) tempts Eve to eat of the
tree of good and evil. She did eat and also induced Adam to eat. This is sin,
disobedience to God.
In reference to Isaiah 45:7 God takes
no pleasure in evil. The evil in this verse is physical adversity and not moral
evil. Willful sin is punishable by God, physical adversity is not.
Psalms 5: 4 For thou art not a God
that pleasure in weakness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.
Man has a choice just like Adam and
Eve to choose which path they would like to take. Some have chosen the evil
path and some have chosen to obey God. God did not bless us with evil. God only
created evil like he created everything else. Man chooses evil or good.
Religious killings are not sanctioned
by God. Stephen was stoned and Saul who became Paul went throughout the country
persecuting Christians, before his conversion. This was not in obedience to
God. God will rule over all sinners and those that do not repent.
God does not take pleasure in the
destruction of man. God would like for all of mankind to enter the kingdom. But
God makes it clear, those that choose evil, the ways of sin and will not repent
will be destroyed and have everlasting damnation in hell.
Ezekiel 33:11 Yes, God has no
pleasure in the death of the wicked. God has given us a choice. We are given a
choice no matter what kind of sin we have committed. If we repent, we can enter
the Kingdom of God. Don't feel that sin cannot be removed. If you will not
admit that you have sinned and are not without sin, there is a problem. Please
do not try to turn the scriptures into something that will suit your particular
position? God makes no mistakes. Sin is sin and you will be punished for sin if
you do not repent.
Meanwhile those that have accepted
the good of Jesus Christ are persecuted by those that have accepted the way of
Satan and evil. Remember that this life on earth is brief. Continue to prepare
for the Kingdom of God. Pray for those that continue to scorn you and claim you
have lost your mind. Those that are popular in this God forsaken world follow
the way of evil and eternal damnation.
Let it be written that the righteous
will be cast out of their families. They will be forsaken by those that have
known them from birth. Friends, relatives and enemies will forsake them and
denounce them with the epistles of hate and irresponsibility. It is for certain
that the true test of the believers is to weather this storm. We pray and
regret that this storm is often brought on by those that are so close, siblings
and kinsman. Rest assured that the storm will be over soon. Thus, this
sacrifice will bring Peace and Paradise.
