Greetings Brethren:
We continue our mission of Faith and Truth.
Find here Part 19 of the Series on Giving and Part 2 of the Series on Judging.
For the record there is love and mercy always
in those that seek to render Truth. However “Hit Dogs” that Holler deny love
and defile mercy. Also it is written that the wages of sin is death. Thus many
are Hell-Bound and many will Roast in Hell. We write this but we only quote the
Bible. The inspired writers as moved by God and the Spirit noted the Hell-Bound
destination for sinners not the FreedomJournal. We are only Messengers. But we
are Messengers of Love.
Peace and Love,
Carl Patton, FreedomJournal

GIVING AND THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH
(FALSE TEACHING BY PREACHERS AND
CHURCH LEADERS)
PART 19: GOD BLESSES WHAT YOU HAVE TO GIVE (GOD DOES
NOT BLESS THOSE THAT GIVE WHAT THEY DO NOT HAVE)
In the name of God Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth.
Peace be unto all the Saints of God. We thank God our
Father and the Father of humankind. We are also grateful to the Father for our
Savior Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit that was promised by Christ to be our
comforter in times of trouble and peace.
Brethren many come proclaiming a word of interpretation
when they attempt to dispute the inspired Word of God noted in the scriptures.
For the record one is confused and lost as they search for man’s
interpretation. The Bible is a book of instructions and laws. There is only way
for the Bible to be interpreted and that is as it is written, not adding nor
taking anything away.
As we continue our series of Epistles we will see the
vivid reality of giving as it relates to love. Love is our first commandment.
And with love all things fall in place, therefore giving is a natural component
of love. However the love for God is not hampered by demands of giving a
certain amount. Nor is this love confused with misfortune upon those that don’t
give. There are many man-made laws to beguile, manipulate and confuse the blind
and ignorant regarding giving. But if you study and rightly distinguish the
Truth from the falsehoods of the various ungodly Preachers you will see the
Light.
We will now turn to II Corinthians 8. Our primary verses
will be 8-12 however we also advise you to read the entire the chapter.
II Corinthians 8: 8. “I speak not by commandment, but by
occasion of the forwardness of others, and to prove the sincerity of your
love.” (Also see I Corinthians 7:6).
The Apostle Paul in this place is not saying that God
does not command giving. Because we have previously noted in these letters to
our Brethren that I Corinthians 16:1 says we are commanded to give. But what is
most important here regarding the contemporary schemes and con games of almost
all denominational churches is that God has not commanded a Tithe among the
Church of Christ. The Church of Christ is the Church established by Jesus
Christ and the Apostles. However those that reject and deny Christ offer Tithes
and sacrificial offerings. These people are Hell-bound if they don’t repent.
Meanwhile Paul the writer hopes that the congregation at
this place would be inspired to give by the liberal giving of others. But rest
assured that love is the essence of giving and when you love God you will give.
II Corinthians 8:9. “For ye know the grace of our Lord
Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, ye for your sakes he became poor, that
ye through his poverty might be rich.” (Also see Matthew 8:20, Luke 9:58,
Philippians 2:6, 7).
The often reference to Matthew 8:20 regarding this verse
is not accurate. The subject of poverty defined and as it is commonly used is
not the subject of this verse. The poverty of Jesus was the opposite of his
heavenly riches and glory. Jesus came to us as divine and in human form.
Therefore he gave up the glory of Heaven to save the world. This is the poverty
that is noted here. (The poverty of becoming human and giving up Heavenly glory
with all of its riches). Meanwhile we note that Jesus did not give up his
Heavenly glory for humankind to continue under the Old Law and make sacrificial
offerings and Tithes.
II Corinthians 8:12-13. “For if there be first a willing
mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he
hath not.” (Also see Luke 21:3, Mark 1243, and II Corinthians 9:7).
“For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye
burdened:”
Gifts to God must be made with a willing mind to be
acceptable. Gifts (size, amount) are based on (see I Corinthians 16:2) how God
has prospered you. Paul instructs us to give what we have not what we don’t
have. Therefore we are instructed to give in a responsible manner. We are to
give in a generous manner but not to the point where others suffer. For example
single mothers (who are prime targets of the False Prophets/Preachers who have
a Pimp mentality) are manipulated to give many times and their children go
without. Elderly widows often are beguiled to give and go without needed
prescription medicines. These crimes committed by the various ungodly Preachers
are being added up daily. Beware Preachers that tell lies on God and exploit
God’s people your day is coming for a big Pay Day. I heard a man of Soul “Say
it Loud, As the Big Pay Back.”
We also note here that the amount required of us is not
always the same. There is a difference between the more prosperous and those
with less regarding giving. Meanwhile all members of the body of Christ should
be interested in the welfare of others. The more prosperous have greater
responsibility for they should assist the brethren with less material
circumstances. But rest assured that giving for those that accept Jesus Christ
as their Savior is not based on a certain amount nor is the Tithe in force.
Again we note that if you believe or you have been taught (BRAINWASHED) that
you are supposed to Tithe you are Hell-bound if you don’t read and study and
know what your responsibilities to God are. NOWHERE DO YOU SEE PAUL AND THE
APOSTLES INSTRUCTING US TO TITHE.
