Part 10:
Free Speech: The First Amendment
In
the name of Almighty God, Master of the universe Ruler of all the earth
Editors Note: Beloved those that are Free in Christ are Free as the birds that fly.
Meanwhile the sun comes in the morning and goes as the midnight sun looms in
the horizon. Let not any heart of God be troubled as the ditches are made for
the unrighteous to fly over and for the unrighteous to fall.
Psalms
7: 15: “He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he
made. (Also see the case of Haman in
Esther 5: 14 and 7: 10).
Greetings Brethren,
Peace be
unto you. To the Church and believing Christians everywhere.
To those that believe in the Bible as the supreme authority that governs all of
humankind. In this we give thanks to God the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit
that leads and guides us the straightway.
Beloved it has been long times in
the fire as to our God given right to Free Speech. Meanwhile the First
Amendment for the righteous has been challenged but there is no expiration in
Freedom for the Christ like. Academic freedoms were questioned at our earliest
graduate school experiences. However the fury of those that rebuke moved to an
ending (less) height when we became born again.
Persecution of the righteous the
God sent messengers will be an eternal death sentence to the ungodly. We pity
the fools that reject God and Christ and those commissioned in His service. Only
someone locked and blind on Stupid cannot see Heaven.
Proverbs
1: 7: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise
wisdom and instruction.”
We
See Timeless Freedoms In God (1-5-09)
I
kicked and squirmed as I was born for the
womb
was too confining as I wanted to come
out
to see all of nature and the great Creation
that
Almighty God had bestowed upon all
that
had sense to see.
All
the days of my life as I remember I stood
up
for what I believe is right. Many people
stood
idly by and said nothing. However some
criticized
as they just went with the flow while
others
commended you in private as they were,
Afraid to say anything publicly.
I never thought
about
Free Speech or the First Amendment
but
I did note that there was much prejudice
thinking
and racism ran rampant as the rights
of
the Po and the Black underclass as a young,
Man
prior to the Civil Rights Movement was often
challenged
as Jim Crow was actually White as
Black
like me had separate quarters and drinking
White
water and flushing a White commode was
taboo.
So
was the school closed? But due to the backlash
that
resulted from forced integration the neighborhood
school
should have survived. How could it when
some
groups that championed Civil Rights got into
the
spite Whitey game and lost sight of quality,
Education.
So education was dreamed as the
utopian
dream by the Black underclass and we
strived
to learn our letters and numbers. I went
to
four different elementary schools not because of
segregation
but due to the Black and poor just,
Trying
to survive and maintain adequate housing on
$15 and $50 per week salaries.
Learning in the Numbers
and
English grammar I remember I was at my worst.
But
I read every book I could get my eager Black
hands
on.
The
house had books as Mama and Daddy both
could
read and loved to reflect on things in books.
Can
any avid reader of books leave not with some
sense
of freedom? Do those that read consistently
believe
in the rights of free expression?
I
didn’t know or had ever verbalized those things
as
a young Black boy growing up in the south in
Tennessee
but somewhere, yes somewhere Free stuck
in
my subconscious mind. I loved to read and it went
with
me everywhere.
I
soon loved the debate as my Father was a great
debater
and as a young man we, my Father and
brother’s
had great debates on politics. We were
a
house full of jack leg lawyers as we became the
neighborhood
philosophers.
But
the Spirit of learning and analysis of facts and
conclusions
with some meaning were upon me. I
guess
this is why I never felt I should turn around on
Truth.
So as my education turned to mis-education
I
lingered in the Truth.
I
saw the miscues and vowed to see the real Truth.
As
an undergraduate student there were few challenges.
But
as the student matured and as I gained entrance
to
graduate school I was smitten by an alleged Black
Studies Program.
I
now first really came into competition with those that,
sought
to deny you freedom of expression, academic
freedoms
and the First Amendment were trampled on.
All
Black was not good as they dared you to say that
someone
Black actually denied you the basic rights of,
Free speech.
I had not come to realize and coin the phrase
Black
on Discrimination at this time however it would soon
be
forthcoming. Sadly and regrettably many although Black
like
me had been commissioned by agents of Satan to report
and
cause havoc in the ranks of the intellectual who was the,
Real Black man, woman boy and girl.
Character assassination
was
the game. So was the dismissal of your worth to any place
of
employment. So many Black Lists came about and I never
saw
not one supporter come to my aid. As of this day I know
not
one former colleague that I shared books with in many debates,
Study
rooms, classrooms and libraries that has ever brought me
any
comfort as an honorarium, research grant, teaching, or lecture
opportunity
that has tenure and rank at any school Black or White.
What
are they still afraid of? But if I thought the constitution had
been
suspended I had seen nothing until I came to Christ.
Was this good or bad.
It was of course good as the bad was
that
I thought the greatest problem confronting the Black
community
was the assault on Black history. However through
my
conversion I found out the greatest crime against humanity was
the
distortion of the historical record (Bible) of the church.
Although
the censor the fools multiplied I now knew why
they
came… the Bible told me so. The Spirit thus far has allowed
me
a greater level of comprehension and analysis of these ungodly
problems.
Thus “The Methodology For Obtaining Truth,” will
forever
be
upon me and allow me to see God and the Freedoms He brings.
