EVEN
DEATH DOES NOT SILENCE THE SCRIBE
Let
it be written that the words, thoughts, theories, analysis and conclusions, of
a scribe live for as long as the world stands. For the record, a scribe is
defined as a person whose occupation is writing. Scribes existed before the
invention of the printing press. Thus, the writings of the scribes are the
documented accounts of the total motivations, actions and history of humanity.
It is a known fact that the written word (printed word) is the primary vehicle
for conveying knowledge and thought.
The
scribes of ancient times realized their responsibility to humanity. The people
who honored and appreciated the work of ancient scribes were intelligent
people. Many people could not read during the birth of civilization. Even fewer
people could write. Thus, intelligent people greatly appreciated the great
philosophers who sought to record and document the thoughts, motivations and
histories of the day. History documents that the ancient scribes were not
always universally accepted. It is further noted that scribes throughout
history have had opposition. Contemporary time is no exception. Even today
writers who are independent thinkers are rejected by many people and
institutions. This opposition and rejection has to do with the way the
independent thinker writes and the way he thinks. Any man or woman that truly
wants someone else to think for him or her is insane, ignorant or seriously
flirting with stupidity.
Meanwhile,
the scribe or writer has a definite responsibility. Yes, a responsibility to
deal with the Truth, and write in a vein devoid of prejudice. If one can
maintain the path of Truth with consistent impartial writings, so be the
results of the pen. But, some people don't want to know the Truth. Many find
issue with the Truth because they know that are doing wrong. Let it be written
that the Day of Judgment is "Now and Later."
As
the true scribe goes about this work, threats, intimidations and even death are
merely minor obstacles. The constant resistance to the scribes right to write
will only intensify his efforts to duly record the Truth. It is for sure that
the ultimate right of the scribe to write comes from Almighty God. The
Constitution and the First Amendment are man-made laws that guarantee the right
to free expression. But, God is the ultimate power that sanctions the existence
of the true scribe.
Dedicated
and responsible writers who challenge injustice, oppression, discrimination,
and false assumptions in an impartial manner without fear or favor are limited
and few. They also have a World View that takes in the Spiritual realm. Thus
they are messengers of God that challenge those who follow Satan. The spiritual
and divine nature of God does not allow Him to speak to the masses in the ways
of the flesh. Therefore those that speak and write the Truth and realize the
presence of God are fulfilling a mission of God.
Meanwhile,
the mission of the reader is to think. He does not have to be a believer to
believe in Truth. However, your belief in Truth will eventually result in your
awareness of the Power and ultimate Supremacy of the Creator. Therefore if you
are intelligent and can think, you will give something you read some thought.
Thus, the logic of a comparative analysis is part of the thinking process.
Hence one's conclusions are based on logically reasoning not gossip and
unfounded personal opinions and prejudices.
The
FreedomJournal will continue to withstand those that attempt to deny Truth.
Again we note that we only stand in awe of God. We thank God for life and the
strength that comes from the knowledge of His Divine Truth.
