CONFIRMATION OF FAITH (1-12-09)

Beloved the believers have a great outlook

on faith as things not seen. But often they

also falter. Thus praying daily without

ceasing eases the pain of doubt as the flesh

is always weak.

LEAVE YOUR BURDENS AT THE ALTAR

Every day I knew during the last days as

I remember I came with Hezekiah on my

mind. Isaiah God’s prophet was sent to tell

him as he laid upon his sick bed that he

would surely die.

But beloved there is a confirmed destiny for all

that live not just Hezekiah. Was God teaching us

once more than once? Listen and look and see?

Isaiah came bearing the news that he was told,

informing the good king to get his house in order.

I long to prepare for my death with some

preparation. However with new found news

of your demise there may be immediate things

to take care of. Thus Hezekiah is given this

warning as he was gravely ill.

But this good king Hezekiah offers us a

testimony and the inspiration to do likewise.

He turns to prayer as he had no prayer closet as

he was confined to his bed. God a good and

merciful God heard his prayer.

Proclaiming that he had walked in God’s

truth and kept a good heart Hezekiah asks

God to cure him of his illness. Brethren can

God answer you? Will God answer a prayer

of those outside His Truth?

Just what is the call to God for relief from

sickness or death? We bear witness that

there is no sickness to death for those that

embrace the Truth of God. The sting of death

has been thus removed.
