Greetings Brethren:

We come knowing that God will forever shine down on the righteous. As we continue our mission of Truth we stand fast guarding the Book. Some have even asked us to forsake God for a season or day to lift up man or self. But, beloved how can we talk about any of our work and deny the goodness of God and his healing power.

Let it be written we (FreedomJournal) will never forsake God. Since God will never leave us we pray for strength and the good sense to stay with God the Creator of all things. Praise His Holy name. Lift Him up. Blessed is the name of God, our Savior and we jump with Joy because of the Holy Spirit.

Peace and Love,

Carl Patton writing for the FreedomJournal October 4, 2003, in the year of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

CREMATION AND THE SPIRIT

PART 8: THE EARTHLY BODY

In the name of God master of the universe, Ruler of the earth.

Brethren we thank God for another day in time. We are also very grateful for the strength in our body. Thanks be to God for our Savior Jesus Christ. Thanks be to our Father for the Holy Spirit.

Is there any need to preserve the earthly body? Preserve in this instance means to take care of. Also many seek to preserve the body in death. Also as we seek to dispute the CREMATORS by scripture we see that some in death feel no need to preserve the body.

Meanwhile why does the Apostle Paul talk so much about the earthly body and its destination? Is there a difference in the body and ASHES? Is there any scripture regarding ASHES and the transformation to a spiritual body that is heaven bound? Where do ASHES really go? As you know we will deal with the destination of the Spirit later. But for now we are trying to bring clarity to the body and what is the Christian responsibility to preserve the body or BURN it.

In II Corinthians 5:1-10 Paul teaches about the weakness of the earthly body. He says nothing about the weakness of the ASHES. Nor does Paul note the destination of ASHES. But he does note the destination and call of the righteous in body but not in any other form. The record shows that God through Jesus Christ will transform that which is left in the GRAVE to a heavenly body in regard to the righteous. Those unrighteous will also be transformed to a body but to Hell and eternal damnation. Are the CREMATED souls already in Hell?

II Corinthians 5:1-3. “Fr we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.”

“For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:”

“If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.”

Here we see Paul noting the differences in the earthly body and the heavenly body that is resurrected. Death of the body will not relinquish the spirit. Therefore the body not the ashes will be absent of the spirit. Meanwhile the Bible also teaches that the body and soul are inseparable. So those in the Lord’s Church that preach and teach that we (Who is we? Are they are talking about God?) are not concerned with the body only the spirit are confused are blinded by Satan. The Spiritual being or person is not satisfied without a body to be associated with it. Therefore does the CREMATED body if it could be righteous match the heavenly spirit? Can the CREMATED body be transformed into a heavenly body?

II Corinthians 5:6-8. “Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:”

“For we walk by faith, not by sight:”

“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.”

The believers long and relish the coming of eternal life. Thus the sting of death has no victory nor does the believer bow to those that are ungodly. There is a purpose for the earthly body and so does the heavenly body have a purpose. Meanwhile the sight of the faithful means the appearance of things in the present life. (Also see Romans 8:24-25).

There is no fear of death among the righteous. Paul notes that if not for the good of his Ministry he would rather go home to be with the Lord.

II Corinthians 5:10. “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”

We will all appear the good and the bad. Why is this word BODY used so often? Since BODY seems to be so significant have the CREMATORS given thought to their willful destruction of their bodies by FIRE? Whatever a man or woman has done will reveal the sentence of death for the wicked and the crown of life for the good.

Brethren again we note how can the CREMATORS feel any sense of righteousness in the act of CREMATION? Just where will body, soul and spirit of the CREMATED body go?
