CREMATION AND THE SPIRIT

PART 79:   THE LORD GIVETH THE SPIRIT: BUT MAN TAKETH IT AWAY

In the name of God master of the universe, Ruler of the earth

Peace be unto you my beloved Brethren. We greet you in the name of God our Father who also wishes peace among His children. We also heard our Savior Jesus Christ who also sends greetings say peace be unto all the Saints. This peace is also a blessing noted in the Divine indwelling of the Holy Spirit who also brings greetings of joy and peace.

Brethren we thank God through Jesus Christ for the Holy Spirit. Thus God has given the Holy Spirit, but has man taken it away? How can the Holy Spirit be taken from humankind?

“There was once a man that saw the need for responsibility. However there was another man that saw a casual need. But he relished in things of the world and was not are seldom held accountable.

Meanwhile the man that saw responsibility knew (from reading the Bible) that God would always be with him as long as he stayed with God. Simply he knew that God would never forsake him. He had to leave God to be denied God’s blessings. He saw that as a good deal. Because he knew that his faith could be small as the grain of a mustard seed but it was still faith. In his heart he respected God and wanted to be part of the everlasting kingdom thus he kept God first and stayed in prayer.

However, the irresponsible man who also the same indwelling of the power had called the Holy Spirit was not responsible. He left God. How did he leave God? Well he did not keep God first. He loved material things, money, cars and many things of the world. Among them were loose women, drugs, gambling and all things immoral that he saw, read about and acted upon that was promoted by many Churches and the Pagans of the World.

Finally Brethren at the call from the Grave the man responsible had a righteous Spirit at death that rejoined his body at the Day of Judgment. But the irresponsible man stifled the Holy Spirit and had not a righteous Spirit at the time of the Call. Many of his fellow partners in ungodliness also BURNED their bodies thus the Spirit of God was denied. Responsibility sees Peace and Paradise while those irresponsible that leave God and deny the Spirit go to Hell.”

We will continue our scripture lesson taken from Joel Chapter 2. We will pick up with the 31st verse.

Joel 2: 31. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come.” (Also see Joel 2: 1, 10, 3: 15; Isaiah 13:9, 10; 34:4, Malachi 4: 1, 5-6).

The writer still notes things figurative. However this prediction was fulfilled when Jesus was on the Cross and the sun was prevented from showing its light for three hours. (See Matthew 27:45). This was 50 days before the Spirit was given to the Apostles. The word terrible is taken in this passage from the Hebrew YARE which has one meaning that notes reverence. Reverence can then be clearly related to the time when the Lord gave to the world a kingdom that will last forever.

Joel 2: 32. “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hat said, and in the remnant who the Lord shall call.”

The writer notes that to be saved one has to call on the name of the Lord. Before we note several prominent New Testament scriptures turn with us to Isaiah for an additional thought. In the 4th Chapter of Isaiah we find only 6 verses please read the entire Chapter however our primary scripture is taken from verse 2.

Isaiah 4:2. ”In that day shall the branch of the Lord be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.”

As the captivity ended the remnant returned to Israel. The remnant at this place are those that remained obedient to God. Many have not remained obedient nor have they called on the name of the Lord. Shall be delivered and shall be saved mean the same.  We see this noted in Acts 2: 21.

As we call on the name of the Lord we look for salvation see Acts 22:16 and Romans 10:13. We note that the Remnant is further seen as the Jews that were obedient to God at the time the Spirit was given to humankind. As we look through the telescope to these times we see a disobedient people. We seen many people that claim to be righteous and worship the way noted by the Apostles however they have left God and wallow in Pagan confusion that renders the rejection of God’s laws regarding burial and BURN the dead.
