Editors Note:
Why has there been so much confusion
and mis-information about the origins of the people
from the "Land of the Blacks?" Is there a relationship regarding this
confusion and the confusion of race or religion and the Hebrew people?

SOME
NOTES ON BLACK HISTORY
Part
4: The Historical Perspectives of the People of God
In
the name of God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth.
The distinct parallels between Jews, Christians and Black people are
recorded in the Bible. These people were also removed from Europe. As we make a brief historical overview of
these early people, we see a nation that multiplied and assimilated with
African people. For the record we bring ethnic origins into the discussion not
to maintain inferiority or superiority of any group of people. We only mention
the essence of ethnic origins for the sake of clarity and understanding.
The people who left Africa (The Land
of Egypt) also took with them the belief in one God, which they borrowed from
the Egyptians. As we seek to identify these people, it is revealed to us (The
FreedomJournal) that there is a parallel of racial confusion within these
people and the people from "The Land of the Blacks." Let
it be written that the people that left Black Egypt in the Great Exodus were
Semitic people descended from Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. These people were of
Hebrew ethnic origins. Hebrew and/or Israelite are related to race and
ethnicity.
We seek God to guide our recording of
these words. Thus, we declare that Judaism and/or Jew are related to a religion
and not race. Therefore, all Hebrews are not Jews. Nor
are all Arabs' Muslims nor, are all White people Christians. Therefore when the
FreedomJournal notes religious preference of a group of people we are referring
to those who have expressed a belief in God and seek to follow God. Those that
seek to kill their fellow man in the name of God seek after damnation. God
during these last days has not sanctioned man to kill other men in His name.
God is love not Death and Destruction.
Almighty God wishes
for man to have Truth, Wisdom and Knowledge. Faith in God will render you Truth, Wisdom and
Knowledge. The Old Testament views Truth as an essential quality of God. This
Truth is found in His reliability, dependability and faithfulness. As applied
to man, this Truth meant that the individual was consistent in his actions and
that he conformed to God's will as revealed in the law.
The New Testament concept of Truth is
closer to our modern view. Truth is more than something thought or believed it
is something to be done. Truth to the Christians is also noted as the
acceptance of Christianity. Thus we see that Almighty God is Truth.
Proverbs is the wisdom book of the
Bible. However, scriptural references related to Truth and wisdom are found throughout the Bible.
Proverbs 4:7 "Wisdom is the
principal thing; therefore, get wisdom: and with all thy getting get
understanding.
I King 17: 24. "And the woman
said to Elijah, now by this I know that thou art a man of God, and that the
word of the Lord in thy mouth is Truth."
Titus 1:2. "In hope of eternal
life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began."
Also, see Proverbs 13: 16, James 4:7,
John 1:17.
The record shows that Black people,
the people from "The Land of the Blacks," Blacks in the Diaspora, the
poor masses that belong to the majority that inhabit the planet earth have had
a long history of oppression and persecution. Therefore, the histories of
oppression as related to these people note many common factors.
Long before the slave ships came
there was oppression and persecution. The record also notes that many years
before colonialism there was the denial of Human Rights to many people on the
planet earth. As the histories of man are recorded, we also see that almost two
thousand years before legalized segregation and the "Vale of Tears,"
there was persecution and oppression of the people of God. As we look at the New
Testament in the book of Acts we see a record of many of these events of
persecution.
Luke while traveling with the Apostle
Paul wrote the book of Acts. For the record Almighty God gave the power to heal
and raise the dead to the Apostles noted throughout the Book of Acts. We bear
witness that God has not ordained this power to any man that now walks the
earth. All healing that occurs comes solely through our faith in God and not
from some miracle of man. Those that claim the power to heal are part of
Satan's army and are Demons and false prophets.
As we return to Luke and the book of
Acts, we see a description of the beginnings of Christianity. The Apostles were
frequently imprisoned for preaching about the word of God and our Savior Jesus
Christ. This book also notes the sympathy for the poor and the power and
presence of the Holy Spirit. We see the relationship of this
scripture to the Truth of the Afro-Centric historians of today. We see
persecution and rejection. We also see the pronounced challenge to the Truth of
these writers when they accept the word of God. Meanwhile we gain comfort and
strength when we read and come to understand the word of God. Our faith is
strong and we love God and our fellow man. We also know that the knowledge of
God will render man Truth, wisdom and knowledge.
